Winemaking

Combining art and science

Winemaking is a complex process that blends both art and science, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the technology involved and a high level of skill. It all starts with the meticulous selection of premium grape varieties, followed by careful crushing and pressing of the grapes.

An age-old and noble pursuit

At the Lundra winery, the Tufa family has dedicated themselves to preserving the rich tradition of Albanian viticulture through expert cultivation techniques and the use of scientifically advanced processes, including soil preparation, seedling planting, irrigation, chemical treatments, pruning, and more. The result is a top-quality, certified product that embodies the best of Albanian wine. The length of each stage can vary depending on the type of wine being produced and the winemaking method used. Some wines may be bottled and sold within a few months, while others may be aged for several years.
